North Leroux Street Art Shoppe
Our gallery in Flagstaff during the mid-1970s.

We opened the Art Shoppe Studio & Gallery in an old barber shop just a half block from the train station in downtown Flagstaff in 1974 I think. We sold art and crafts, jewelry and art supplies and it was great fun. Elaine taught school on the White River Apache Indian Reservation and we later lived in Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona. From Flagstaff we moved to New York City, from New York to Dallas, from Dallas to Santa Fe, then Phoenix, Tulsa, Fort Worth, and now Fruita, Colorado. And points in between.

Getting ready to move to Flagstaff.
Elaine and George got married in June of 1973 by a used car salesman in Durant, Oklahoma. It is kind of a long story. And then we moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, from Dallas. Here we are at the giant garage sale in Canton, Texas.

It was a lighter load then.
